Calcium (Ca) is critical for stony coral growth and shellfish exoskeletons. Depletion (<380 ppm) leads to slow coral extension and brittle skeletons. This additive replenishes calcium without disrupting alkalinity, ideal for SPS-dominated tanks. Maintain 400-450 ppm for accelerated calcification.
